As part of the Telling Tales Festival,  The Globe have asked me to build on the success of Story Mayhem, a workshop I ran earlier this year for the Imagine Children’s Festival at the Royal Festival Hall.

SHAKESPEAREAN STORY MADNESS: VI FAMILY WORKSHOP
For young visually-impaired people, an hour of creative mayhem!

Saturday 30th July at 2.15pm

Using Shakespeare’s tales of Hamlet, Lear, Othello and Macbeth as springboards, I’ll be working with visually-impaired children to create new stories and adventures which I shall tell at the end of this one hour session.

So, if your child (or if you know of any child that) is sight-impaired and likes making stuff up, this is for them! It’s raucous, it’s imaginative, and most of all, it’s fun! You’ll be amazed at what we come up with…!

For more information and to book a place, please visit here.

And in the meantime you can listen to me talk a bit more about the workshop then listen to the grisly tale of Lord Sulis and the Red Caps…!

Update: to read how it all went down, please visit here.
